Designed by the sought after Parisian artist Pablo Reinoso, this is a not only a design feature but a sensory experience highlighting the breadth and quality of the brand

Estates & Wines, the Moët Hennessy Wine Division, has just launched a special release of icon wines from six of its estates in some of the most famous wine regions in the world. This extraordinary collection of wines – one bottle of each estate’s “icon” wine - is a wonderful opportunity to savour the flavours and discover the tastes of such famous wines as Cloudy Bay, Cape Mentelle, Terrazas de los Andes, Cheval des Andes, Newton Vineyard and Numanthia.

“The Ultimate Collection” is an odyssey; a journey which takes wine lovers to lands and places that they may not know, may never have visited. Linked to this image are those of mystery, of new tastes and sensations. With “The Ultimate Collection”, wine drinkers can embark on an exciting voyage which will lead them to new tasting adventures. In recognition of this willingness to discover new worlds, Estates & Wines has selected the very best wines created by its winemakers from the four corners of the world, to act as the ambassadors. These icon wines are the best guides one can have. From the elegant, smooth flavours of Cape Mentelle’s Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in the cool climate of the Margaret River in Australia, to the rich, chocolate and dark fruit flavours of Numanthia Termanthia produced in Spain’s most exciting wine region, Toro, passing by the Andes to enjoy Cheval des Andes and Terrazas de los Andes Afincado Malbec, the Napa Valley to savour the beauty of Spring Mountain grapes with Newton The Puzzle, finally to arrive at Cloudy Bay, at the end of the wor ld, where a glass of the extraordinary Te Koko , aged for three years before release awaits you, this is truly an exciting tasting voyage. Each wine of “The Ultimate Collection” can stand on its own merits but it is its inclusion in a selection with the other wines which gives it further resonance.

This common thread, this universal ribbon, is the philosophy and the passion behind the creation of each wine. The wines might come from totally different parts of the world but they are tied together by their sense of place. Three of these wines have earned their icon status because they were the pioneers in the region: Terrazas de los Andes, Cape Mentelle and Cloudy Bay put their respective regions of Mendoza, Margaret River and Marlborough on the world wine map. The other three have earned their “icon” status for the plaudits they have won as artisan wines, crafted out of the desire to push the winemaking boundaries out further, to see what can be done with experimentation, blending and careful aging. These icon wines are produced in small quantities and it is often difficult to obtain these reser ve bottlings. Here in one elegant wine case, are six compelling wines which will increase one’s wine horizons and add new adventures to a wine lovers’ taste experiences.
